鹰谷酒业--和左拉Ÿ内娜一起品味北京南非美食节

The South African Embassy in Beijing will co-host a South African Food Festival from 1-5 June 2017, in collaboration with The Opposite House in Sanlitun (Swire Hotels). Three-course lunches and four-course dinners, accompanied by a variety of South African beverages, including wine, Amarula liqueur, Savanna cider, Ceres juice and Rooibos tea, will be on offer at the Village Café.  Menus for the event were developed by well-known South African celebrity chef and food stylist, Ms Zola Nene.

今年的6月1号至5号,南非驻北京大使馆与瑜舍酒店将要在三里屯(太古酒店)共同举办“南非美食节”。其中有三菜午餐和四菜晚餐,还有南非饮品:红酒、爱玛乐酒、savanna苹果酒、Ceres果汁、博士茶,这些美食将在Village Café供应。美食节的食谱由南非著名厨师、美食设计师——左拉Ÿ内娜女士提供。

Chef Zola Nene is best known as the resident chef on the South African TV show “Expresso”. She will travel to Beijing following her participation in The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, from 26-29 May in Yantai (Shandong Province) where she is a finalist for the “Best TV Chef in the World Cookbook” award for her book Simply Delicious.

左拉Ÿ内娜闻名于南非电视脱口秀节目“Expresso”,她是这档节目的常驻大厨。5月26-29日,她将参加在中国山东烟台举办的“世界美食家食谱奖”大赛,以决赛选手身份为她的食谱“简单的美味”争夺“世界美食家食谱奖-最佳电视节目食谱”荣誉。然后她将到达北京。 

Chef Zola’s culinary career spans over 10-years. She discovered her passion for food whilst on a two-year study gap in the United Kingdom. She worked at a Brasserie in Cheshire for two years, first as a hot section chef, then as the head pastry chef.  She returned to South Africa and enrolled at the prestigious Institute of Culinary Arts in Stellenbosch, where she was able to work with some of South Africa’s top chefs. Prior to joining the national morning breakfast show, Expresso, Chef Zola worked as a food assistant at a magazine and also as a catering manager of a large catering company in Johannesburg.  Apart from cooking on TV, she also develops recipes and is a food stylist for a number of publications and brands.

左拉Ÿ内娜的烹饪生涯经过了12个年头。她在英国读书的两年期间发现了自己对美食的激情。在柴郡一家有名的法式餐馆做蔬菜烹调师,然后任西式糕点厨师。然后她回到了家乡南非,并就读于斯泰伦博斯著名的烹饪艺术学院,期间,她有机会和南非最好的厨师学习。在进入国家早间快报节目“Expresso”之前,左拉Ÿ内娜在一家杂志社任食品板块助理,也在约翰内斯堡的一家大型餐饮公司担任过餐饮部经理。除了在电视上表演烹饪外,她还独立地为出版物和食品企业开发食谱、设计食物风格。

Simply Delicious chronicles Chef Zola’s food journey and culinary career through her recipes, interspersed with snippets and perspectives of her life, including tributes to the people who have inspired and influenced her cooking style and explaining the reasons for her culinary choices. Chef Zola Nene’s food philosophy is very simple – cooking is for everyone.

《简单的美味》一书通过食谱讲述了左拉的美食之旅和烹饪事业,旅程中点缀着她的生活片段和个人的想法。其中有对那些曾经启迪和影响她烹饪风格的人们的感激之情,也有对她自己的某个烹饪想法的解释。她的美食理念非常简单—烹饪是服务于大众的。

In addition to the South African Food Festival, Chef Zola will also undertake a series of media interviews and conduct a book talk on Simply Delicious at The Bookworm Café on Wednesday, 07 June 2017 at 19:00.

除了参加南非美食节,左拉还要出席一些媒体采访,而且还将参加关于《简单的美味》一书的书谈活动,活动将于今年6月7日19:00书虫咖啡馆(The Bookworm Café)举行。
